We are excited to bring Tammy Zonker to northern Indiana for a two-part, daylong workshop on storytelling and fundraising.
Tammy has worked with groups across the United States to help nonprofits drive intentional change by transforming their fundraising so they can transform the world.
These workshops on September 13 are free and open to anyone who is involved with nonprofit organizations in Elkhart County or those serving Elkhart County. The Learner Center provides free continuing education opportunities for those who work in the nonprofit sphere.
Participants attend either or both workshops at Hotel Elkhart. Lunch will be provided to anyone who requests it.
Part I: The Influential Storyteller
The most effective way to inspire action is through story. But too often we tell the stories we feel most comfortable telling versus the stories our donors need to hear. Join this session to learn a psychology-based approach to writing and telling stories that motivate donors to give. This session is particularly for marketing and communications professionals, as well as fundraisers, agency leaders and board members.
Part II: The Influential Fundraiser
This session explores the psychology of influence and will leave you better equipped to inspire donors through meaningful engagement. We’ll also discuss the ethical and moral responsibility that goes hand-in-hand with this knowledge. This session is for anyone involved in fundraising.
This workshop is offered by The Learning Center.
To register for the happy hour from 4:30 to 6 p.m. that day.
