Ashley Jordan is the Director of Acts of Service at the Community Foundation of Elkhart County. In this role, she inspires generosity through the gift of time by connecting businesses, social clubs, and community partners with nonprofits’ volunteer needs.
Ashley earned an associate’s degree in applied science from Glen Oaks Community College and trained as a medical massage therapist at the Blue Heron Academy of Healing Arts and Sciences. Before joining the Community Foundation, she spent two and a half years as a philanthropic relations coordinator at Lippert, five years as a massage therapist and business owner, and two years as an on-call firefighter and first responder for the city of Sturgis, Michigan.
Ashley serves on the boards of Catsnip Etc., the Council on Aging of Elkhart County, Elkhart County Community Organizations Active in Disaster, and the Aktion Club of Goshen. She received the Council on Aging’s Senior Advocacy Award in 2018 and was named to the 2022 Forty Under 40 class.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys exploring the outdoors, upcycling items, watching Detroit Pistons basketball, and, of course, volunteering.
