Jennifer Defrees is the Controller at the Community Foundation of Elkhart County, meaning she ensures financial transactions are properly recorded and provides accurate reports. She plays a major role in the Community Foundation’s tax preparation, auditing, and budget. She has her Master of Science degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Prior to her current work, she held various finance roles at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Elkhart County over a period of twelve years. Jennifer is a member of Osceola Grace Church, and serves as a board member for The Pumpkinvine Trails Coalition, What About Willis, and FreedomSystem.org. Along with being an avid reader and self-proclaimed concert junkie, Jennifer cares for two dogs that she adores.
