Kim Miller is the Chief Human Resources Officer at the Community Foundation of Elkhart County, which affectionately calls her dream job.
In this role, Kim leads all aspects of human resources for the foundation and is also a member of the senior leadership team. One thing that brings great joy in her role is discovering ways to create systems and clarity for employees in an organization that has experienced great growth.
Prior to joining the foundation, Kim served as market manager for Indiana and Michigan retail branches at Chase Bank for 17 years. She later transitioned to nonprofit leadership as the director of human resources at Child and Parent Services for seven years and then worked as the HR manager at Korhorn Financial Group.
Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Hillsdale College.
She and her husband, Kevin, live in Middlebury, have two adult children, and recently joined the grandparenting club! Outside of work, Kim loves golfing, riding the Pumpkinvine Trail, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She’s also been part of a women’s gourmet group for over a decade—something she looks forward to every month.
