100 Women Who Care

Collective Giving. Local Impact.

100 Women Who Care - Elkhart County logo100 Women Who Care Elkhart County is a group of women who come together with a shared purpose: to support local nonprofits doing meaningful work in our community.

Started in 2014 by Jenny Welch and Sheila Terlep, the group is built on a simple but powerful idea—when people pool their resources and act together, small efforts can lead to significant results.

How It Works

Each member commits to giving $100 four times a year. At each quarterly gathering, members nominate local nonprofit organizations that are doing good work. After hearing from a few of those groups, the members vote—and the organization with the most votes receives that quarter’s collective donation.

It’s a streamlined, thoughtful approach to giving—one that allows members to make a real difference without a large time commitment.
