October 23, 2020 ELKHART, Indiana – The Community Foundation of Elkhart County’s Board of Directors approved $2,102,822 of new and multi-year grants to dozens of nonprofits and programs throughout Elkhart County. Community Foundation of Elkhart County receives Lilly Endowment Inc. grant

Money will help plan for new Tolson Center & Park October 5, 2020 ELKHART, Indiana — Community Foundation of Elkhart County has received a Community Leadership Grant of $200,000 as part of the seventh phase of Lilly Endowment Inc.’s Giving Indiana Funds for Tomorrow (GIFT VII) initiative. New Tolson Center board named and begins meeting to start planning work

Fifteen people join the board to lead process of rebuilding neighborhood center in Elkhart August 10, 2020 ELKHART — The new Tolson Center board met for the first time in the closing week of July to begin the process of rebuilding the facility and how it serves the residents in surrounding neighborhoods. Community Foundation Of Elkhart County Awards $2.3 Million During First Grant Cycle of 2016-17

December 2016 ELKHART — The Community Foundation of Elkhart County approved $2.3 million in Key Initiative Grants to end the first grant cycle of the 2016-17 fiscal year. The competitive grant awards come from the Community Foundation’s unrestricted fund, Fund for Elkhart County. This is the third year under the new grant model which was established in July 2014. Community Foundation to Match $250,000 of Donations to Disaster Relief Fund

Nine local students learned this week they will receive major scholarships from Independent Colleges of Indiana through the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program and the Community Foundation of Elkhart County.  All scholarships are awarded to first-generation college students.
