Universal Application
for High School

One Application. Dozens of Opportunities.

Each year, the Community Foundation of Elkhart County awards more than $2.5 million in scholarships to local students. If you’re a high school senior or recent graduate, our Universal Application is the place to start.

By completing a single application, you’ll be considered for more than 30 scholarship opportunities—no need to apply for each one separately. We’ve designed this process to save you time and help you focus on what matters: preparing for your next step.

Who Should Apply?

You’re eligible to apply if you:

  • Are a high school senior, recent graduate, or GED holder
  • Live in Elkhart County
  • Plan to enroll in an accredited college, university, or vocational program

Each scholarship has its own criteria—some look at academic achievement, others at leadership, service, or financial need. Many consider the full picture of who you are.

How It Works

  • The application opens on January 1 and closes on March 1.
  • It takes about an hour to complete.
  • Once submitted, your application is automatically matched to scholarships you qualify for.
  • No need to submit multiple forms or guess which ones are right for you.
  • Students are responsible for ensuring their high school transcripts and personal evaluations are submitted by the third parties from whom they request them.
