Estate Planning Council – November 30
Elkhart County Estate Planning Council
Final 2016 Lunch and Learn
The election held surprises for politicians, pollsters, pundits, philanthropic planners and the public. While there is speculation about future policy direction in some areas, the new administration has set forth its tax reform proposal as have the House Republicans. These tax reform proposals are reportedly a central component of the new administration’s “100 Day Plan.” What compromises are we likely to see in the new administration?
If you or your clients are uncertain about the potential impact of proposed tax law changes, including the elimination of the estate tax and the cap on itemized deductions, register now for next week’s “Politics, Tax Reform & Philanthropy” luncheon.
Anne Morgan’s postelection analysis will brief us on what proposed tax changes are most likely to affect charitable giving in both the near and longer term.
