Together with local philanthropists, the Community Foundation offers numerous scholarships for students in Elkhart County. The scholarships go toward tuition for higher education.

Many of the scholarships are available via one Universal Application.

Scholarship	School Standing	Description	Application Window
Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship	High school	Through the Community Foundation of Elkhart County, Lilly Endowment Inc. awards four-year, full-tuition (room and board not included) scholarships to three 2024 Elkhart County seniors. The Community Foundation awards nominees not selected as LECS recipients with the Guy David Gundlach Memorial Scholarship of $20,000 ($5,000 for four years) toward tuition.	July 31 to September 25
Universal Application for High School	High school	The Universal Application unlocks consideration for over 32 different scholarships for high school students. To save you time and energy, the Community Foundation has a single online application that matches you directly with the scholarship for which you are eligible.	January 1 to March 1
Universal Application for Adults	After high school graduation	The Universal Application unlocks consideration for six different scholarships for adult students. To save you time and energy, the Community Foundation has a single online application that matches you directly with the scholarship for which you are eligible.	January 1 to March 1
John G. Blakesley Mathematical Excellence Scholarship for 8th Grade	Eighth grade	The Community Foundation awards a scholarship to an Elkhart County eighth-grade student, to be applied towards four years of higher education following the student’s high school graduation.	February 1 to March 6
