OSMC Scholarship
The OSMC Scholarship was established to provide scholarship assistance to dependents of employees at OSMC.
Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center (OSMC) has six locations in northern Indiana where patients can get medical care. The organization started in 1973 and has grown to nearly 250 employees. “It is the mission of OSMC to provide outstanding musculoskeletal care to patients and communities where we live and serve,” according to the company website.
At the 2022 Community Foundation of Elkhart County’s Scholarship Brunch, Dr. Scott Trumble had an opportunity to meet several students who were currently benefiting from CFEC scholarships and heard the stories of the impact that these scholarships have on these Elkhart scholars. He credits Heritage Financial for setting an example of giving back to the community and has pursued setting up a similar one for dependents of OSMC employees.
Dr. Trumble is a foot and ankle surgeon and joined OSMC in 2000. He wants to support their employees and make a difference in their lives and the lives of their family members. He is pleased to have something established to help make an impact.
