Walter O. Wells Scholarship

The Walter O. Wells Scholarship was established to provide annual scholarships to graduates from Elkhart County high schools in order for them to attend an accredited college or university in the United States.

Eligibility Requirements:

1. A resident of Elkhart County for a minimum of one year
2. Graduating high school senior
3. A student having attained CORE 40 or Indiana Academic Honors Diploma or equivalent
4. A student planning to enroll in an accredited college or university in the United States
5. A student planning to pursue a four-year college degree program

Awards:   Multiple awards are given every year in the amount of $1,000 per year for each of 4 years for a total award of $4,000.

Apply between January 1 and March 1, 2024.
